Timberland Pro
People who work hard should have comfortable and efficient protective footwear. Timberland Pro work shoes and boots are designed to keep feet safe without skimping on breathability and support. This durable footwear is at the cusp of workboot technology, helping to deliver quality improvements with each new release. Timberland Pro work boot designers regularly go out in the field to interview and experience some of the harsh work environments their customers deal with in order to provide features that workers really want. While there are many Timberland work boots for men and women that can be used in many situations, some are specifically designed to protect feet during construction, electrical work, logging, factory and manufacturing work, among other jobs. When you want the best protective work boots, Timberland Pro is there to meet the challenge.
Special Features
Timberland Pro footwear is always improving, but most of the brand's work shoes and boots rely on one or more of these essential technologies:
- Anti-Fatigue Technology: Between the high-energy rebound midsoles and the contoured interiors, most Timberland Pro footwear is designed to reduce unnecessary drag and energy loss to give you a more productive workday.
- Adherence to Safety Standards: Always check with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) to find the degree of protection advised for your job. Timberland Pro gear is matched with these standards, giving you the knowledge you need to get exactly the protection you need.
- Odor Control: After a long day of manual labor, the last thing you want is stinky feet. Timberland Pro uses naturally anti-microbial textiles and linings to help keep your boots fresh even after many hours of work.
- Safety Toes: From carbon nanotechnology to classic steel toes, Timberland Pro is an expert on reducing the risk of sudden impact and crushing pressure on one of the most vulnerable parts of your feet.
- Timberland Outsoles: The iconic shape of Timberland treads helps reduce the risk of slipping even on wet, oily or slanted surfaces. Some outsoles are based of the design of sports tires, while others rely on proprietary designs to help you stay on your feet as long as you need to.
- Recycled Materials: Many Timberland Pro boots are now made with 50% recycled materials, helping to reduce plastic waste without compromising on quality.
- Waterproof Construction: Not only do Timberland Pro's waterproof work shoes and boots have breathable waterproof membranes, but they're also sewn, not glued, to ensure the soles don't melt away from the uppers the first time you step in a puddle.
Timberland Pro is always working to make improvements to its lineup of work boots and shoes, making it possible to enjoy custom-like comfort and safety no matter where you work.
About Timberland Pro
The Timberland name first caught public attention in 1973 when the Abingdon Shoe Company moved to a rugged corner of New Hampshire and found that workers needed better boots to stand up against snow, rain and summer heat. The resulting boots were named Timberland and were bright yellow, an iconic choice still recognized by many consumers today. Over the next 20 years, the company continued to make improvements and eventually created a separate brand based on this design. In 1999, the company diverged again in order to focus on the professional requirements for its work boots under the name Timberland Pro.
